Chris Rushton BVSc MRCVS Partner Joined 1989

Chris qualified the same year as Ian at Liverpool in 1987. He became a Partner in 1993 and takes a very keen interest in both large and small animal work. At one stage in his career he wanted to specialise in pigs! but has now settled for horses and small animal surgery. Out of work he does a lot of walking and loves the solitude of rambling on desolate hills and mountains both in this country and abroad.

Ian Elkington BVSc MRCVS Partner Joined 1992
Ian, who qualified at Liverpool in 1987, is a native of Ashbourne and joined us from a Practice in Yorkshire. His interests lie in the management of, and routine testing of cattle for DEFRA in the fight against bovine tuberculosis. In his spare time Ian is a member of an unbeatable pub quiz team! He became a Partner in July 2004.

Brian Riley BVMS MRCVS Retired Partner Joined 1964
Brian retired from the Partnership after 33 years in 2004. He is now part time, still being involved with small animal surgery and the business side of the practice. He spends the rest of his time involved with his other passion, building work and DIY!

Carl Bradbrook BVSc CertVA MRCVS Associate Joined 2003

Carl qualified from Liverpool in 2002. He joined the practice in March 2003 and undertook a residency in Equine Anaesthesia and Critical Care at the Royal Veterinary College from August 2005 until October 2006. He returned to Moorland Vet Centre in October 2006. His main interests are in small animal anaesthesia and critical care.

Stephen Clancy MVB MRCVS Associate Joined January 2005

Stephen qualified from Dublin in xxxx. He joined the practice in January 2005. His main interests are in bovine reproduction and nutrition.
